2 tablespoonfuls tarragon vinegar
¼ lb. Roquefort cheese
3 or 4 drops Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoonful Worcestershire sauce
For Mayonnaise -- The white of an egg, stiffly beaten, added to the mayonnaise
salad dressing, makes it much more delicious.
Parisian Dressing
(Good for vegetable salads)
Chop very fine, 1 green pepper, 1 white onion, 2 red pimientos, 1 dill pickle, 2
sprigs parsley. Add this to 1 cupful olive oil, one-fourth cupful vinegar.
Season with 1 teaspoonful powdered sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
Celery stuffing-- Peanut butter makes a very good stuffing for celery,
particularly if you work it up with a little salad dressing. Roquefort cheese is
even better.
