|  When points of scenic or historic interest are neared, the Traveling Passenger Representative makes an appropriate announcement from one of several public address system stations.  Checking rail tickets and seat assignments when passengers board the incomparable Empire Builder at intermediate stations is one of many assignments.  The Traveling Passenger Representative contacts each passenger to make sure he is comfortable and to inquire if he can be of special service.  In the lower lounge section of the full-length "Great Dome" car, Mr. Christianson makes arrangements with these passengers for dinner by appointment.
