Who was James Jerome Hill?

James J. Hill was the founder and early driving force of what became the Great Northern Railway.

For written biographies, there are many books about Hill and the Great Northern.

A very well-done set of DVDs (two disks - four hours running time) was recently completed entitled "The Empire Builder" - "James J. Hill and the Great Northern Railway".  It was produced, directed and edited by Stephen Sadis and Kyle Kegley in 2024 for greatnorthernfilmworks.com.
